Frequently asked questions

How I begin my journey to a new space?

It all begins with a phone call or a stop in to schedule a viewing appointment to pick materials for your new or existing space. I could be you’re in the early stages and haven’t even decided on what kind of stone you’d like to use to transform your space. No problem! We have professionals who can assist you in your journey to find the material that is best suited for your needs.

Where do I view materials?

Whether you need guidance to figure out what material would best suit your needs, or you know exactly what you’re looking for, we have a ton of options in our slab yard that is on site in Arlington, WA for viewing. If for any reason we do not have what you are looking for, we have local vendors in Seattle that will be available to you for slab selection. If you decide to make a slab selection from one of them, they will be able to send us the materials you select. We have great relationships with our local vendors and, as an extension of our business, they do everything they can to make it an easy process. Once you have made your selection, we can continue the process to transforming your space into exactly what you want!

Do I need to book an appointment to view slabs?

An appointment is preferred in case we are with another client when you drop in, but it is not required. Just understand that if we are with other clients we want to prioritize and ensure each, individual experience with Solid Rock is personalized and that you have our full attention. If we need to schedule another time to properly assist in your project, just know it is because we want to ensure the best experience possible.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Please make sure to bring measurements and photos of the space(s) you would like to add stone/quartz. This will allow us to give you the most accurate quote for what you have envisioned. If this is a new build, please make sure to bring blue prints and, obviously, photos will not be necessary.

Additionally, it is very helpful to bring paint samples for each space as well as cabinet and backsplash samples (if you have backsplash going in).
